It’s an honor to announce the signing of Dallas legend Wanz Dover AKA Blixaboy AKA Jack Dover. His forthcoming Split tape titled 'Planet X' showcases both of his solo electronic monikers. With Blixaboy material on Side A and Jack Dover material on Side B
He has been doing Blixaboy since about 2006. His first release was in 2009 after having his first demos discovered and played on Mary Anne Hobbs BBC show. He has released on Concrete Plastic (UK), Central Processing Unit (UK), Fanzine Records(Spain), Science Cult, and his Stereo on Strike label.
Jack Dover is the Techno alias of Wanz Dover used for four-by-four audio affairs. Tracks that tap into a minimal pulse, industrial grit, and dub echoes in equal measure. The moniker has been used for the Sektor Atom ep and Dark Circle ep on Dover’s Stereo on Strike imprint, along with a string of remixes.
He was in shoegaze, post-punk, and experimental bands in the 90s. He tackled electro-acoustic studies (computer music) at UNT CEMI (Center for Experimental Music and Intermedia) program from the late 90s into the early 00s.
He is still active in his long-running post-punk band, The Dotz.
